1. Payment Schedule

​

• Initial Deposit: 50% of the total package price is due at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

• Final Balance: The remaining 50% is due 45 days before your scheduled departure.

​

​Note: Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in the cancellation of your booking, subject to the fees below.​

​

​2. Cancellation by the Traveller:  

​

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Because we secure limited peak-season rooms at the resort months in advance, the following scaled policy applies based on the date your written notice is received:

• 90 days or more before departure: 10% of the total package price is retained as a non-refundable booking and administration fee.

• Between 89 and 60 days before departure: A cancellation fee of 15% of the total package price applies.

• Between 59 and 45 days before departure: A cancellation fee of 25% of the total package price applies.

• Less than 45 days before departure: A 100% cancellation fee of the total package price applies (non-refundable).

3. Travel & Insurance Guidance

• Transport to India:
  AyuRA provides land‑based retreat services in India, while travellers arrange their own international flights. Because flight disruptions can occasionally occur, comprehensive travel insurance is important to ensure you are fully protected throughout your journey.

• Travel Insurance Requirement: 
  To ensure your peace of mind, all participants are required to have comprehensive travel insurance. This protects you in case of personal cancellation (illness, injury, or family emergencies), medical care abroad, emergency repatriation, and travel disruptions. 
  Our retreat partners in India apply strict cancellation policies, so having your own insurance ensures you are fully covered and never at risk of losing your investment.

4. Transfer of Contract (Name Change) ​

​

In accordance with Belgian travel law, you may transfer your booking to another person who meets all the conditions of the retreat package, provided you notify AyuRA at least 45 days before departure. Any additional costs or administrative fees charged by our resort partners for this change will be passed on to the traveller.

Please note that our Indian retreat partners apply strict cancellation policies. In some cases, a name change may be treated as a cancellation and re‑booking, which can incur costs up to 100% of the original price. For this reason, all travellers are required to have comprehensive travel insurance.

 

5. Travel Documents & Health Requirements

 

Travellers are responsible for ensuring they have valid travel documents for India, including a passport with at least six months’ validity from the departure date and any required visas. Any financial loss resulting from incomplete or invalid documentation is the traveller’s responsibility and is not covered by AyuRA’s refund policy.

Health & Fitness

By booking, you confirm that you are medically and physically fit to participate in the selected Ayurvedic program. If you have underlying health conditions, we recommend consulting your physician before travelling to ensure the retreat is suitable for you.

6. Resort Logistics

• Check-in: 12:00 noon | Check-out: 10:00 am

• Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and will incur an additional supplement payable to the resort.
   

7. Medical Disclaimer & Nature of Services

AyuRA acts solely as a licensed travel organiser. All Ayurvedic treatments, medical consultations, therapies, and personalised dietary plans are provided by the independent, qualified medical doctors and clinical team at our partner resort in Kerala.

As these services are medical in nature, AyuRA cannot be held responsible for specific treatment outcomes or individual reactions. All medical decisions and care are managed directly by the resort’s healthcare professionals.
