Meaning of AyuRA

AyuRA combines Ayurveda with my initials, RA - symbolising life, light, love, peace and balance.

Across cultures, the phonetic sounds of the name carry a universal spiritual dimension.

  • Sanskrit: Ayur = Life; Veda = Wisdom

  • Japanese:  Ayura = Love & Peace

  • Hebrew: Ayura = Light

AyuRA's Vision

To illuminate a path of holistic wellness, towards a life filled with health, harmony, love, and peace.

AyuRA's Mission

Help people reconnect with their natural rhythm, restore inner harmony, improve work-life balance, and navigate life with clarity and calm.

About the Founder

Renuka Ayri

Born and raised in New Delhi, where spiritual traditions are the norm, Ayurveda, yoga, and meditation were woven into my everyday life. I inherited these traditions as part of my DNA. These parental influences of simple and natural living shaped me and supported me throughout my personal and professional journey.

The Bridge Between East and West

I began my career in the travel industry, introducing international visitors to the cultural richness and spiritual heritage of India. This early work taught me the power of meaningful experiences, human connection, and the transformative impact of travel - foundations that continue to inspire my Wellness Retreats today.

Over the past 30+ years, I have worked internationally as a Senior Project, Program, and Change Manager, leading complex, multi‑site transformations across IT, engineering, facilities, and public‑sector environments. My work has taken me into global organisations, multicultural teams, and high‑pressure environments where resilience, clarity, and emotional balance are essential.

Reconnecting to the Roots

Like everyone, I went through challenging periods, and I navigated them by reconnecting to my roots: Ayurveda, inner work, and conscious self‑care. Over time, this personal journey became a professional calling. I trained as an Ayurvedic Health Instructor (Chopra Education) and expanded my skills with NLP (Neuro‑Linguistic Programming) and Reiki, bringing together mind‑body science, energy work, emotional intelligence, and behavioural understanding. This blend of ancient wisdom and modern organisational experience became the foundation of AyuRA.

Today, I support individuals and organisations through Ayurvedic consultations, retreats, and corporate wellbeing programs that are practical, accessible, and rooted in both science and lived experience. I also speak at conferences, organisations, and professional communities, sharing insights on wellbeing, resilience, and conscious leadership in modern work life.

Strengthening Inner Resilience

This  prayer strengthens me and serves as a constant reminder to gracefully accept what is beyond my control.

“God grant me the serenity

to accept the things I cannot change,

courage to change the things I can, and

wisdom to know the difference
